Tycroc FXL or FXW building board is designed for building rounded shower cabins, convex steam sauna ceilings, walls, and benches, and is an ideal solution for these types of projects. Grooves cut by the manufacturer into the building board are specially designed for creating rounded surfaces. The grooves are not cut through the entire board, which means that all of the excellent hydrophobic properties of the Tycroc TWP board are retained. The product remains water-resistant, and no additional waterproofing is required. Our selection includes the Tycroc FXL board with lengthwise grooves and the Tycroc FXW board with widthwise grooves. Additional grooves can be cut to achieve a smaller bending radius or, for example, to create two-sided convex shapes.  

Tycroc grooved building boards can also be used outdoors (for plinths, façades, window reveals, etc.), provided that the extruded polystyrene (XPS) core is protected from UV radiation by a suitable finishing material, such as cladding, render, façade panels, or similar.
